Booz Allen is seeking a senior manager to manage investment opportunities, inform investment theses in key categories, and support fund leadership with due diligence and fund operations. In this position, you will project manage active deals through the investment process, conduct due diligence, and regularly meet with founders and investors.

You’ll source, negotiate, and execute investments in early/mid start-ups, as well as follow-on rounds, consistent with the fund’s investment strategy. Focus on sectors aligned with Booz Allen Hamilton’s innovation theses such as Data Science, AI / ML, 5G, IoT and Autonomy and targeted platforms such as national cybersecurity and digital battlespace.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity investing, venture capital, or with a technology company
  • Experience with project and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Experience with Intellectual Property reviews, corporate governance, material agreements and operational capabilities of target investments
  • Experience with venture or innovation deals, from ideation and sourcing to execution
  • Experience with forging relationships with startup founders, investors, and corporate executives
  • Ability to prioritize initiatives appropriately and execute them to completion independently
  • Ability to show interest in technology, venture capital, and startups
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $118,000.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
