– Conduct market and industry research and investment theses on specific sectors – Source/identify startups in target sectors – Meet founders, assess investment opportunities, and perform initial due diligence – Perform financial/business analysis and modelling, and interpret company and financial data – Develop, document, and present investment recommendations to the investment committee – Take part in in the due diligence process and support transaction closing – Support portfolio startups and work directly with the founders on an ad-hoc basis – Organise events that help build Insignia’s ecosystem for diverse entrepreneurs in technology – Assist with administrative and project-based responsibilities on ad-hoc basis

– Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from a top-tier institution – At least 1 to 3 years of experience in management consulting, investment bank, private equity or venture capital at a reputable firm – Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia/Bahasa Melayu & Vietnamese is a plus – Management (Founding Team), Business, operations, strategy or finance experience at a leading venture-backed startup in Southeast Asia is a plus

– ‘Hands-on’ approach demonstrating tenacity and resourcefulness – Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with founders and external stakeholders – High energy and unflinching work ethic – Entrepreneurial empathy and respect for early stage start-up founders – Ability to grasp and filter new ideas quickly, and must have demonstrated great interest in the latest technology trends – Ability to manage multiple projects and execute on processes while working with diverse and/or remote stakeholders
