At-Bay is a fast-growing Insurtech startup based in San Francisco, CA. We are an insurance company built by cybersecurity experts. Through cyber research and rigorous data gathering and analysis, we are developing end-to-end next-generation insurance products. We currently write Primary and Excess Cyber as well as Primary and Excess Tech E&O for companies up to $5B in revenue. We have raised over $50M in funding, and are backed by Khosla Ventures, LightSpeed, Shlomo Kramer and MunichRe. We are currently 45 people split between San Francisco, New York and Tel Aviv.
This role will support At-Bay’s strategic decision making on future insurance products. As part of
the Corporate Development team, you will be responsible for evaluating new market opportunities and will work closely with senior leadership to set the direction for our product strategy. This internship opportunity is well suited for a motivated individual interested in product strategy, launching new products, and financial services in a startup environment.
Analyze market attractiveness for a range of potential insurance product offerings through
quantitative and qualitative research methods
Develop robust business cases for investment in priority, near-term offerings
Work cross-functionally to surface areas of opportunity and risk
Frame actionable product recommendations for senior stakeholders
Execute on ad-hoc corporate development and risk projects
Work with a super charged team that loves to get stuff done
Attributes And Qualifications
Enrolled in a full-time MBA program
2-4 years of management consulting, financial product management, strategy, private equity
experience or equivalent
Excellent communicator in all forms: presentations, written, conversational
Proficient in Excel and PPT. SQL a plus.
Strong attention to detail and well organized
Action-oriented, analytical self-starter
Experience in and/or comfort with a start-up environment a plus
