Thanks for reading my blog. I hope you’ll find my musings on entrepreneurship, venture capital, careers, and software/internet interesting, or at least entertaining! If you like what you read, please let me know. The best way to do that is to leave me a comment. I’d also encourage you to join my mailing list. Everyone’s inbox is cluttered and I don’t want to contribute to the problem, so please expect (and call me out on it if I fall short) only high quality, relevant content.
Work stuff: I currently work as a business development manager at a leading cloud computing provider. Before joining my current company, I worked at VMTurbo, an early stage virtualization and cloud computing startup software company, which I joined as the 2nd non-founder and first sales/marketing hire. I led our customer development, business development, and marketing initiatives, while helping acquire our early customers and launching our first products.
Prior to joining VMTurbo I worked as an early stage VC at L Capital Partners. Earlier in my career, I worked at VMware, Scient, and FOXSports.com. You can click here if you’d like to read my LinkedIn profile to learn more about my past career experience.
I received a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Personal stuff: I was born and raised in Massachusetts (Go Sox!). I’m married, with a beautiful wife, two wonderful baby girls, and a hairless dog (he’s not ugly, I swear).
